Subject: An excellent performance and cause...
Seeing this live was really something to behold: a full performance of two of rock's most seminal classics done start to finish in a completely live setting. All of the musicians did an amazing job, especially considering the lack of rehearsal time and the amount of distractions each was faced with. It's an impressive package from start to finish.

Consider the fact that all of the original sound effects, pain-stakingly produced over a great period of time in Abbey Road studies by Pink Floyd as they constructed "Dark Side," have all been recreated here and pulled off live and in person (that's the tearing of a paper bag you hear preceding "Money," timed perfectly with the pouring of a cup of quarters and a few other home-made sound techniques). Also consider the level of musicianship and songwriting the Beatles had achieved in their last-recorded classic "Abbey Road," and how well reproduced all of those intricasies are here, part-by-part, and you get a sense of the kind of work that went into this. They've even got "English Tom" on accents..

If you're a fan of either of these albums, attended the live shows, or are just interested in seeing what a talented and energetic group of people can do when lead by Charlie Parker and driven by such a worthy cause, give this a listen and enjoy. It's a fun ride...
